A final note about the startup journal

Categories: Startup journal

If you took the time to read the blog you may have noticed that there is a gap of almost 3 years on the startup journal posts, fact is that everything got in the way. The company is still there and I am still there too, so no issues there.

But the reality is that there wasn’t anything actually special to report, at the end the company behave just like any other company, the product is out there we are working to move to a higher number of clients but without any flair or technology worth of writing about.

From the previous posts (not so many I admit) we are using couchbase and elasticsearch, what is good; it was showed me a valuable lesson, using those new concepts with a team that isn’t given enough time to absorb team isn’t good (after 3 years we are still dealing with some misunderstanding).

I believe that is all that I have to say; obviously, I could write more and more about rights and wrongs of what we did, but you are more than served of those situations if you go to nice sites like InfoQ and check out what people talk about working environments and their challenges.

I just wanted to close this chapter (short in posts but long in years) before jumping to what I believe are more exciting and interesting topics.
